Certified home health aides perform those household and health-related services that are essential to the patient's well-being and necessary to prevent or postpone institutionalization.
Before assigning an aide, we conduct a professional evaluation and assessment of each patient. This results in the development of a care plan, prepared in cooperation with the patient and family. We assign a R.N. Field Supervisor to oversee each case.
Our goal is to find the best possible match between aide and patient, with aides
carefully selected depending on the needs, health and preferences of the
patient.
Patients need not worry about aide turnover - a different person will not be coming into their home every week. In many cases, patients and aides have been together for years. This furthers complete comfort and trust.
All Certified Home Health Aides complete the NJ State Board of Nursing approved training course and pass both written and practical tests for competence. Aides always practice universal precautions and infection control techniques.
A State and Federal background check is done on each aide and nurse who may come
to your home. Our Agencies are fully insured and bonded for your
protection.
